Position is responsible for the optimization of a production process associated with an individual operating unit. The scope includes quality, yields, and throughput. The position will also comply with all EHS requirements.
Monitors shift and daily production product sample results to assure that all product specifications are met.
Adjusts In-process target to meet Lot parameters.
Participates and leads efforts for improving assigned unit productivity and reliability.
Supervises plant test runs. Implements new processing designs and equipment and aids in the training as required.
Optimizes plant production for rate and quality.
Provides certified analysis information regarding finished products to customers.
Provides assistance to Laboratory supervision by analyzing lab data and providing feedback.
Monitors all incoming raw materials to his/her unit for specification compliance.
BS in Chemical Engineering
5 years in a plant manufacturing environment
Six Sigma training preferred, but not required. Six Sigma Green Belt training will be provided!
