Data System Engineer – Structured Cabling
Duties include:
- Design and engineer low voltage systems on projects such as commercial, high-tech buildings, data centers, hospitals/labs, retail centers, tenant improvements, airports, etc.
- Attend meetings as needed to determine design / system criteria
- Work in conjunction with electrical engineering teams
- Design and engineer low voltage pathways and conduit systems
- Design and engineer IT power and HVAC requirements
- Manage and direct CAD teams and systems groups
- Identify design opportunities with preconstruction sales teams
- Build long-term customer relationships
- Provide feedback to teams as needed
Excellent salary and benefits!
- RCDD / PE / AA or AS preferred
- 7+ years experience with low voltage systems design and integration for Audio Visual, PA, CCTV, Access Control, Wireless / WiFI / DAS, Fire Alarm, Telecom, Data Networking and infrastructure on large commercial and high-tech projects
- Experience with network planning and implimentation
- Estimating experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
