Digital Cinema Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot issues with Phantom HD and Phantom 65 cameras, CineMags and CineStations.
  • Be company expert on topics related to digital cinema cameras, including industry trends, technologies, standards, etc.
  • Provide deep-technical backup for customer-facing support resources.
  • Work with engineering to continuously improve camera performance. This includes things like camera use model, color accuracy, post-production workflow, etc.
  • Backup resource to repair defective cameras.
  • Develop camera test and check-out procedures to ensure quality and consistency.

Skills:

  • Strong technical skills in electronics with extensive experience in video engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience with digital video equipment both cameras and camera accessories.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High initiative and works well with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled at working directly with partners/customers when needed.

Experience:

  • Greater than 5 years experience in servicing, supporting and/or design of digital cameras.
  • BSEE or equivalent demonstrated level
