Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary:

Project Engineer is responsible for jobsite documentation, management of subcontractors, assisting superintendent and project manager, scheduling work, and other project-related tasks, as needed. Project Engineer will also be required to assist upper management, as needed, with tasks related to other projects or warranty items on existing buildings.

Interfaces with; President, Vice President, Director of Construction, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and other site staff, Controller and accounting department staff.

The “Rehab” projects consist of Multi-Family dwellings as attached apartment and or townhouse buildings. The “Rehab” work consists of accessibility and code upgrades, sitework, hardscape, landscaping, building exterior upgrade from stucco to siding, re-roofing, re-painting, elect. and low-volt upgrades. Interior work includes demo of flooring and cabinets. New flooring, cabinets, appliances, tubs / showers and fixtures. Re-painting and quality control.

Extreme coordination is required between all subcontractors, building management, ownership and tenants. Documentation, notifications, RFI’s and submittals are fast paced. Patience, knowledge, creative solutions, communication skills and follow through required.

Computer Skills Required:

Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet software, scheduling software,
and Procore.
