Project Manager- Public Works

Should have over 5 years experience in managing Public and/or Private Works jobs, such as: Schools, Hospitals, Fire & Police Stations, Universities, Parking Structures, and Data Centers.

 

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Communications with Clients, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, Office Staff, and Management
  • Perform job take-offs, ITB preparation and distribution, job scope for all trades, and prepare estimates, proposals, and bid packages.
  • Prepare Contract agreements
  • Coordinate pre-construction activities
  • Develop, evaluate, and coordinate project schedule
  • Secure and evaluate all bids necessary for construction of a project
  • Maintain current Contracts, Plans, and Specifications
  • Create and manage contact list of clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Oversee the activities of personnel on site, and all Subcontractor activities
  • Manage Turn-over activities and documentation at the close of a project

 

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project / Primavera, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to promote teamwork
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 Software would be a plus
  • Knowledge of mechanized take-off and estimating software desired
  • Experience with Self performed Structural and Site Concrete
