Senior Energy Data Specialist

Description:

Our firm has provided results and solutions to a broad range of clients in the energy industry for over 50 years and is currently seeking an outstanding individual to join our Tampa, FL location.

The Senior Energy Data Specialist is responsible for:

• Updating and documenting data parameters in the database, including research, implantation for all items, such as forecasts, margins, planned capacity or market changes. Accuracy is extremely important!
• Working closely with experts and project teams to implement data revisions resulting from project work or new documents.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
• Hold weekly meetings with management to keep them updated on projects and developments.

Requirements:

• Ability to analyze energy markets to assess and forecast prices prices, environmental emissions and transmission
• BS in Economics, Engineering or other similar industry field
• 4-5 years experience working in the solar energy field, plus 2-3 years supervisory experience
• Strong Quantitative and Strong Skills
• Experience using relational databases , with attention to detail
• Some QA/ QC experience preferred
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Access
• Excellent Communication skills
• Ability to multi task
