Responsible for administering all phases of project through construction; has primary responsibility for budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, specification, and working drawings on a given project with authority to direct, control, and monitor all activities. Handles multiple tasks under pressure and prioritizes responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and programming for prospective project
  • Prepare conceptual development plans and budget
  • Maintain company Architectural Standards & Guidelines
  • Manage project document review approval process
  • Project Delivery on Budget
  • Project Delivery on Schedule
  • Maintain project document library and historic project information
  • Preconstruction activities and consultant coordination
  • Primary contact for company suppliers and vendors

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
  • CA. License Required.
  • Must have 10 year’s architectural experience with substantial experience involving School Facility Projects in excess of $50M.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Projects and PowerPoint.
  • Must have familiarity with AutoCAD and BIM.

Must have the following experience in order to fulfill job responsibilities:

  1. Architectural, planning and project documentation
  2. Space planning and programming
  3. Project scheduling and management of document milestones
  4. Estimating, Budget Control and development of VE solutions
  5. Selection and Management of Consultants
  6. Varied experience in architecture and construction project management
  7. Management of Client Relations and reporting to Clients
  8. Construction administration and site experience
  9. DSA Code analysis and evaluation
