Sr. Regional Sales Mgr.

We are looking to add to our sales team…candidate will be responsible for sales activities, from lead generation through close of sales within an assigned territory and will work within the Regional Sales Group as a support team member to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue generation.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the sales and marketing of all company new products and services within his/her region
  • Build relationships with various firms within region to get products specified within project bids
  • Identify needs and technical issues with the customers in order to improve existing or developing new solutions
  • Identify competitors in order to develop practices to be more competitive.
  • Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, and face to face cold calling, direct mail, networking and working with consultants in the field.
  • Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospective clients of the various solutions the company offers to solve their business issues; create and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses appropriately addressing client needs
  • Develop annual sales business plan in conjunction with Regional Sales Director to meet or exceed sales quota
  • Train, mentor and develop sales reps within assigned region and assist in closing deals.
  • Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values

Excellent Salary and Benefits

  • 4 year degree preferred
  • 3+ years of successful technical sales experience preferably in the potable water quality industry
  • Must demonstrate ability to understand and communicate technical documents and terminology
  • Must be highly persuasive using facts and figures
  • Strong organizational, planning and presentation skills
  • Must be able to develop strong industry relationships built on trust and credibility
