Construction Plumbing Project Manager

The Plumbing Project Manager reports to the Department Manager for coordinating and scheduling all phases of a project as well as for any technical specifications to acquire equipment, materials, and technical bid evaluations.

Key Duties:

  • Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs.
  • Prepare extra work orders and document distributions for subcontractors.
  • Attend and document project meetings.
  • Assist with preparation of schedules and master schedule.
  • Evaluate field problems and document RFI logs on system.
  • Review, evaluate and transmit submittals.
  • Review and assemble change order submittals and quantity surveys.
  • Compile contract close out documents and punch list work.


  • Minimum of one year in experience related to managing construction projects or BS/BA degree in Engineering/Construction Management (will accept a current active status at a local University for a Junior or Senior standing).
  • CAPM certificate is required and PMP and/or LEED AP certification is highly preferred.Experience in Residential Plumbing/Mechanical projects is an advantage.
  • Basic estimating and scheduling skills with the ability to read and understand plans/specifications.
  • Computer skills and effective communication skills both verbal and written are a must.
