Project Director – Restoration

We are currently seeking a Project Director in the Seattle, WA area. Project Directors are responsible for simultaneously managing multiple claims / jobs. Makes thorough inspections of jobs and recommends further work to adjusters or clients. Direct Lead Technicians and Superintendents in the production phase of job(s) via work orders. Gather all documents and work orders in order to bill on a timely manner. This position reports directly to the Regional Director.

Key Responsibilities
Core responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

    • Write detailed, accurate and complete scopes and proposals
    • Communicate with project stakeholders on a daily or as needed basis during the assessment, bid, production and collections phases of the project
      • Provide a status report daily (or as requested) during EMS
      • Provide a status report weekly (or as requested) during extended projects
    • Provide project oversight and guidance during production
      • Perform the correct scope of work per industry guidelines, company protocols and stakeholder expectations
      • Manage, meet and exceed stakeholder expectations
      • Protect the company from unnecessary liability exposure (contracts, safety, etc.)
      • Meet project financial objectives (projections, margins and cash flow)
      • Maintain project notes in job management software
    • Produce accurate and timely billing
    • Generate personal referral revenue in accordance with annual goal

Experience/ Requirements

The position of Project Director requires the following:

    • Commercial mitigation experience is required and reconstruction experience is a plus
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Outstanding time management skills
    • Industry related certification, if possible (Asbestos Certification is a plus)
    • Completion or in the process of completing IICRC Training
    • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 20 lbs)
    • Computer experience in MS Outlook and other programs (Xactimate is required)

Working Conditions

Working conditions for this position include but are not limited to:

    • Occasional travel outside of the assigned region for large projects or catastrophes
    • Occasionally having to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) depending on the situation / claim
