Job Description: Construction Company, one of the leading and longest continually operating production home builders in the U.S., is looking for a well experienced individual to join the team as a Project Manager.

Position Profile: Through your direct supervision and leadership of Project Superintendents, project professionals of different disciplines and municipal employees, you will be managing the on-site construction process and land development in assigned communities, resulting in delivery of quality homes on time and within budget.
It is therefore key that you possess a solid working knowledge of all parts of the production home building process and also are knowledgeable of the development of lots.

Establish and maintain effective subcontractor relations.
Provide customer care to home buyer, which results in a high level of customer satisfaction.
Safely manage the work site and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental Federal State and Local laws and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities: (Included but not limited to): Coordinate project planning and permitting approvals for multiple communities.
Handle bidding and contracting for site improvements as well as the home building trades.
Create and maintain budgets for both land development and home building and manage to deliver to the approved time and dollar budgets without sacrificing quality.
Manage and maintain master construction schedules for both site development and home building and communicate with key trades/vendors to ensure timely sequencing for uninterrupted workflow.
Manage Project Superintendents, consultants, subcontractors, and municipal relationships.
Manage and coordinate weekly production meetings.
Alert sales department as to any changes or needed information.
Report to Senior Management and homeowners regarding processes, procedures, timelines, and issues in order to avoid surprises and to improve overall building experience.
Responsible that all job sites comply with all Federal and State safety and environmental laws as well as all Company policies.
Ensure assigned community is in proper order and appealing to the home buyer.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: 5 – 7 Years of experience in home building project management and a good working knowledge of the land development process.
Bachelors Degree in Building Construction/ Construction Management, or Civil Engineering is preferred, or equivalent years of experience in Construction Management with production builder required.
Junior or Assistant Project Managers are strongly encouraged to apply, if you are ready to take the next step in your career.
Senior Construction Managers with a good understanding of project management tasks will also be considered.
Skills and Knowledge: Knowledgeable about the construction best practices including construction cost, materials, products, methods and procedures.
Comfortable reading, understanding and explaining construction blueprints and documents.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Proven organization skills as well as track record to deliver on time and on budget without sacrificing quality.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize several tasks without compromising quality of work or mission deadlines.
Ability to review, analyze and interpret information as well as anticipate and trouble-shoot to solve problems.
Effective verbal and written skills, fluent in English, Spanish is a plus, with ability to communicate patiently and professionally.
Excellent computer proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and ability to learn new programs as needed.
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
Spanish language skills are helpful.
Required to be able to hear, have vision and dexterity sufficient to utilize all office equipment and operate in the field.
Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
