We are currently seeking a Project Manager in the Orange County CA area with experience on Tenant Renovations. The projects that this individual will be working on will consist of residential projects, high-rise multifamily projects and medium-rise projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager on jobs
Maintain contract documents, posting and distribution of addenda, field orders, clarifications and Requests for Proposal
Know project sequence and assist in project scheduling as directed
Know project requirements and assist in project purchasing as directed
Control the material and equipment expediting process
Control shop drawings and submittals and review for contract compliance and establish a routing process to ensure that all
involved in the work are kept informed of the approved shop drawings or status thereof
Keep daily log of events and decisions; document the job history
Prepare progress billings as required
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Construction industry
Knowledge of construction, design, finance, management
Thorough understanding of industry practices and standards
Skills:
Must be able to multi-task
Must be organized and have follow through on tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy are essential
