Business Analyst – T24 Accountant

JOB RESONSIBILITIES

Master the basic job duties and is gaining exposure to more complex technical problems. Still occasionally directed in several aspects of the work; however more straightforward tasks are accomplished without assistance. Has acquired general proficiency in the tools, systems, procedures required to accomplish the job.

• Analyze client business/functional requirements for Financial Accounting and Reporting and relate them to T24.
• Analyze client business/functional requirements for MI and Organizational Structure and relate them to T24.
• Identify any gaps together with proposals for their resolution (e.g. workarounds or changes in processes) and ensure any solutions proposed are realistic and within the agreed scope of the project.
• Define customization needs for Software products as per agreed business definitions.
• Write specifications, if and when needed, for local development and ensure that Technical Consultants have a clear understanding of these specifications.
• Participate in the configuration of T24/TCB through the definition of static and semi-static data for system installation.
• Participate in functional testing to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Liaise with the Software maintenance groups to ensure that the product problems identified are understood and resolved.
• Participate to the review of client organization, processes and workflows and contribute to the proposal of a ‘postpicture’to maximize the benefit from Software products.
• Make recommendations on best banking practices and alert the project manager/supervisor on practices that might damage the client’s business or contradict legal requirements, before recognition as a problem by the client.
• Perform such other duties, functions and services, consistent with status or vocational ability, as may from time to time be required.

• Qualified Accountant

OTHER JOB SKILLS

• PC Literate
• Minimum 5 years experience working within a Finance Department for a Financial Institution
• Experience in implementing Financial/accounting systems a distinct advantage
• Experience in internal auditing a plus.
• Excellent knowledge in accounting principles and practices required.
• Fluent in Spanish
