Senior NAV Programmer Analyst

Position Summary:

The NAV Programmer Analyst is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system based upon business needs and user requirements. Functioning as a NAV expert is responsible to translate user requirements into functional specifications, and then implement those specifications via coding/configuration/workflow development. This role is also accountable for collaborating with external vendors, internal IT colleagues, IT management, and other stakeholders to deliver timely, sustainable, compliant solutions in the NAV environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system based upon business needs and user requirements
• Functioning as a NAV SME for the BioServices business
• Translating user requirements into functional specifications, and then implementing those specifications via coding/configuration/workflow development
• Provide primary support for NAV users
• Deliver to commitments on-time and in a quality manner
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a matrix environment
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Liaise between the business and technology teams
• Comply with company’s Global IT Policies & Procedures.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• 4 year Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum of 2-4 years of demonstrated Microsoft Dynamics NAV development experience (C/AL, C/SIDE)
• Experience working in a GXP environment
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Self motivated and action orientated with a strong results and deliverables focus and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and follow up on issues with minimal direction
• Background in finance / accounting

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

• Proven Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience, including development, configuration, and workflows
• Demonstrated ability to translate user requirements into functional specifications and then develop code / configuration to meet the requirements and specifications
• Good documentation and technical writing skills

Certificates and/or Licenses

• Microsoft Dynamics NAV training
