Contract Office Furniture – New Business Development
Job Overview: Position creates sales opportunities through networking, as well as growing existing accounts. Manages and maintains accounts in profitable manner.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Maintain existing client accounts and develop new clients. Maintain accurate records of all accounts.
Develop new accounts
Maintains current knowledge of company lines and related products, applications and design concepts.
Obtain POs, deposits, purchase agreements and any other documents necessary to secure sales.
Work with various company departments on sales specifications, delivery and installation of products.
Cultivate and maintain working relationships with vendors.
Meet or exceed sales objectives.

BS/BA Degree or equivalent in industry-specific experience.
5+ years contract furniture business development experience.
Major furniture product line experience a plus (Knoll, Haworth, Herman Miller, Steelcase, Teknion, Allsteel).
MS Office and web searching experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and Organizational Skills
