A national furniture company is looking for a Designer. As a trusted source for quality office furniture the company focus has always been providing quality furniture and unparalleled service both during and after the sale.

Description:

Design & Proposal Support

• Prepares error free drawings and quotes
• Manages design time appropriately
• Complies with local codes and standards

Product Knowledge & Specifications

• Full awareness of the company catalog & outside sales offerings
• Work with approved, green light vendors
• Prepares clean, error-free product specifications
• Specifies product based on customer budget, application and competition

Revenue

• Actively seeks to reduce/avoid sales credits and order errors.
• Understands and works within the company financial model.
• Personal project funnel is at or above benchmark levels.

Program Requirements

• Complete required work and reporting on time
• Manages own time to meet company and customer requirements
• Comply with manager requests
• Effectively use provided resources
• Respect the time of others
• Maintain good relationships with reps, vendors and internal personnel

Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent Benefits!

• Four year degree in design preferred
• 2-5+ year’s contract furniture design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Experience using GIZA and Specifier
• Experience with major contract furniture product lines is preferred
