ENTRY LEVEL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Entry Level Electrical Engineer

Position Description

The successful candidate will provide support for the engineering team, including building breadboards, building and operating test fixtures and prototypes and maintaining the electrical engineering lab. The Entry Level Electrical Engineer also works with Senior Electrical Engineers and System Engineers to prototype, test, and debug new products and provides electronic support for Application Scientists.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working with internal and external resources to design and prototype new products.
• Working with Senior Electrical Engineers to test and debug new circuits.
• Complying with and ensuring department compliance with company health, safety and environmental policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years in product design.
• Knowledge of electronic design and the product development process.
• Ability to read and understand electronic schematics.
• Ability to debug circuit boards including probing fine pitch parts and soldering/desoldering components.
• Background in Manufacturing Engineering
