Estimator- Commercial Cabinets

General Job Duties:

• Scope Identification and Definition, Subcontractor Quote Analysis
• Working with Estimating and Engineering Staff, Architects, and Clients on Assigned Projects
• Reading bid journals, subscription services, and newspapers daily to find bid opportunities
• Estimating Projects which includes Conceptual and Schematic Estimating, Advanced Excel and Spreadsheet Usage, OST, and Take-Offs
• Creating and Maintaining Project Schedules
• Making contacts, developing business, and building lasting and profitable client relationships

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture,engineering, or equivalent combination of technical training and experience
• 5+ years experience in estimating
• Understanding of subcontractor sourcing and communications
• 2+ years experience with scope identification and definition, subcontractor quote analysis
• Advanced excel and spreadsheet knowledge (ability to create complex equations/calculations)
• 2+ years experience in commercial and residential cabinets
• Experience in attending job walks
