GAS DISTRIBUTION ENGINEER

Gas Distribution Engineer

We are seeking to hire a Natural Gas Distribution Engineer for our Portland, OR location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the daily duties of hydraulic modeling and the design of measurement and regulation equipment.
• Perform system analyses and develop and maintain multiple hydraulic models performing design work and cost estimates for measurement and regulation facilities, reviewing procedures, design and equipment for code compliance and practicality.
• Assist in the pipeline design work for the distribution and transmission facilities which includes planning, designing, permitting, construction inspection, operation and maintenance of the gas facilities, and specifying appropriate materials for use.
• Providing technical guidance for the construction and modification of gas facilities.

Qualifications include:

• BS Degree in mechanical engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Five – Seven years of related natural gas distribution experience is preferred.
• Must have E.I.T. Certification.
• Must have good communication skills and be proficient with PC applications, including Microsoft Office products.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
