Seeking a regulatory and/or corporate associate with 3-5 years of legal experience in a transactional setting. Candidates must have a strong interest in health-related transactional matters, health care fraud and abuse and regulatory compliance. Excellent academic credentials, writing skills, and a strong desire to work in a team-oriented collegial environment are required.
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
Qualified candidates must have relevant healthcare regulatory experience
Prior experience with hospitals, medical organizations and health care companies
Managed care plans
Medicare and Medicaid
Federal and state healthcare regulatory issues
Reimbursement issues
Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the False Claims Act, HIPAA
