Master Black Belt

Job Description

• Develops and manages site Six Sigma / LeanSigma (productivity strategy) and achieves annual cost reduction goal
• Utilizes change acceleration skills to remove barriers to keep projects on track
• Leads large scale cross-functional teams in the Six Sigma process improvement methodology
• Develops, leads, facilitates, and executes projects using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to deliver results including supervising other Black Belts
• Works with project sponsors to establish project charters and key deliverables/project plans
• Shares best practices and ideas for productivity across the enterprise
• Provides coaching and mentoring to Green Belt teams
• Provides Six Sigma training to other employees

Required Skills

• BS, Chemical Engineering
• Certified Master Black Belt preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt with ample project savings / experience REQUIRED!
• Supervisory experience preferred!
• Strong technical background in industrial process operations
• Proficiency in change management
• Ability to communicate appropriately to multiple levels of the organization
• Strong analytical skills
• Track record in facilitation, coaching and mentoring
