Seeking a Project Manager in the Los Angeles, CA area that should have over 5 years experience in managing Public and/or Private Works jobs, such as: Schools and parks.
Job Responsibilities include:
Communications with Clients, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, Office Staff, and Management
Perform job take-offs, ITB preparation and distribution, job scope for all trades, and prepare estimates, proposals, and bid packages.
Prepare Contract agreements
Coordinate pre-construction activities
Develop, evaluate, and coordinate project schedule
Secure and evaluate all bids necessary for construction of a project
Maintain current Contracts, Plans, and Specifications
Create and manage contact list of clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
Oversee the activities of personnel on site, and all Subcontractor activities
Manage Turn-over activities and documentation at the close of a project
Requirements:
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project / Primavera, and Outlook
A degree from a 4 year college in Construction Management, Civil engineering, etc. is not required.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to promote teamwork
Knowledge of Sage 300 Software would be a plus
Knowledge of mechanized take-off and estimating software desired
