SENIOR UNIX NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Sr. UNIX Network Administrator

Extraordinarily intelligent and resourceful individual sought to provide UNIX and networking support for a highly successful investment and technology development firm. This person will work with the company group’s highly-skilled 35-person IT systems staff and will be responsible for:

• Solaris and Linux related research projects
• Helping architect new technology for our fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Management and administration of over 1000 Linux and UNIX servers
• Management and administration of our state of the art global production network

Job Qualifications / Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• A computer science or engineering degree
• Extensive knowledge of multiple UNIX operating systems
• Solid understanding of the IGP and EGP routing protocols
• Strong programming and scripting ability
• Excellent verbal and written skills

While we strongly prefer candidates with both UNIX and networking expertise, exceptional candidates with only UNIX experience will also be considered.
