Traveling Superintendent – Multi Family
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Construction Superintendent to join our team! As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising and managing our construction staff and construction projects. This position will be 90%+ travel required.
Construction Superintendent duties and responsibilities
- Planning construction processes
- Coordinating all work on construction site
- Supervising construction staff and keeping track of project process
- Collaborating with clients and project managers
- Collaborating with construction engineers
- Estimating costs and taking care of the budget
- Purchasing materials and equipment
- Obtaining construction permits
- Performing inspections
- Maintaining a daily log and writing reports
- Overseeing staff performance
- Ensuring safety and quality standards are met
- Resolving construction site emergencies
Construction Superintendent requirements and qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency with CAD software
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Strong multitasking skills
- Ability to lead a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to complete projects on time
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
