Contract Office Furniture – New Business Development Exec.
Job Overview: Position creates sales opportunities through prospecting, as well as growing existing accounts. Manages and maintains accounts in profitable manner. Positions located in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Maintain existing client accounts and develop new clients. Maintain accurate records of all accounts.
Cold call new accounts with a “Hunter” attitude.
Maintains current knowledge of company lines and related products, applications and design concepts.
Obtain POs, deposits, purchase agreements and any other documents necessary to secure sales.
Work with various company departments on sales specifications, delivery and installation of products.
Cultivate and maintain working relationships with vendors.
Meet or exceed sales objectives.
Job Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree
5+ years contract furniture business development experience.
Major furniture product line experience a plus (Knoll, Haworth, Herman Miller, Steelcase).
MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and Organizational Skills
