Analytical Instruments Service Mgr – Chemistry

Due to a growing market, we are looking to add an Analytical Instruments Service Manager to our firm. The Manager will act with the BU Director of Sales and Service to manage service support within our international offices as well as manage worldwide incremental growth of the Service department through new products, markets and acquisitions.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Develop, manage and achieve sales quotas for field service office for all Process Instrument Business Unit lines. Manage spare parts sales and retrofit quote generation, order and installations.
• Generate weekly, quarterly and yearly reports regarding progress, training, service revenues and budget.
• Maintain communication with various other company departments, both domestic and international.
• Insure the Service department procedures are always ISO9001 compliant and customer quality/regulatory.
• Maintain compliance (EPA, FDA, etc) when specified within the service department.
• Maintain service training activities for the channel and end customers, including support for phones, faxes, order status, etc.

Job Requirements:

• B.S. in Engineering, Science or Marketing or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ year’s technical sales or field service management of analytical instruments.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills and good time management skills.
• Proven management experience.
• MS office experience.
• Some travel required.
