  • Leading and contributing to the installation of commercial audio visual, video conferencing and control systems.
  • Testing and programming control systems and digital signal audio processors
  • Leading projects through final adjustment and commissioning of installed systems.
  • Following directions as well as equipment lists, floor plans, rack and console elevations.
  • Ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures are followed during installation.
  • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
  • Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Maintains customer confidence by keeping project information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.


  • Above average capacity analyzing information and problem solving
  • Knowledge of commercial AudioVisual industry and products
  • Proficiency in use of desktop software
  • Professional conduct and appearance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization
  • Maturity to work with little or no supervision and establish priorities
  • Above average planning, organizational and time management skills
