The Plumbing Project Manager reports to the Department Manager for coordinating and scheduling all phases of a project as well as for any technical specifications to acquire equipment, materials, and technical bid evaluations.
Key Duties:
Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs.
Prepare extra work orders and document distributions for subcontractors.
Attend and document project meetings.
Assist with preparation of schedules and master schedule.
Evaluate field problems and document RFI logs on system.
Review, evaluate and transmit submittals.
Review and assemble change order submittals and quantity surveys.
Compile contract close out documents and punch list work.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one year in experience related to managing construction projects or BS/BA degree in Engineering/Construction Management (will accept a current active status at a local University for a Junior or Senior standing).
CAPM certificate is required and PMP and/or LEED AP certification is highly preferred.Experience in Residential Plumbing/Mechanical projects is an advantage.
Basic estimating and scheduling skills with the ability to read and understand plans/specifications.
Computer skills and effective communication skills both verbal and written are a must.
