Contract Furniture Project Manager

Identifies and manages client accounts and business opportunities to maximize market share, profitability, competitive advantage and capacity utilization. Identifies opportunities, pursues them, and acquires new accounts. Establishes and maintains productive relationships with clients. Provides a valuable service to the customer by communicating the customer’s needs and being our customer’s advocate.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Project management skills
  • Computer literate (word processing, spreadsheets, project applications)
  • Working knowledge of furniture specification process
  • Space planning/visualization expertise
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Must be consultative in sales approach
  • Prior training in Large strategic account management


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Experience
  • Four (4) Years Major Account Strategic Sales Experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Position requires a background in the office furniture industry, general knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction
  • Experience with furniture specification and project management required
