Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Directs the operations of the facility to ensure safe, cost-effective and efficient operations to meet company standards of practice, and all regulatory requirements.
Ensures a sufficient staff of trained, experienced employees and supervisors are available to execute and sustain complex operations.
Prepares, administers, and ensures compliance with annual budget.
Develops and monitors systematic, ongoing review of key performance indicators.
Prepare and provide technical expertise in the development of air, biosolids and wastewater permits and reports for state and federal changing requirements.
Ensures that process control guidelines, testing, SOP’s, Emergency Procedures and other accepted technical and operating tools are effectively utilized and applied in order to achieve the desired outcomes and results.
Utilizes, develops, and manages the treatment, chemical, biosolids, and energy programs, contracts and usages to optimize the cost and budget results.

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field is required. PE in Mississippi is a plus.
10+ years experience in a wastewater treatment facility plus 5 years experience as a supervisor or manager.
Comprehensive knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and operation/maintenance procedures for related equipment. Knowledge of federal, state and local laws pertaining to a wastewater treatment facility is a plus.
MS Grade IV Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certification is a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including excel, Work, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Valid MS driver’s license.
