Project Manager – Commercial

Provides overall management direction for existing projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a particular client, group of clients or geographical area. Ensures that project objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Essential Activities:

• Marketing
  • Assists marketing and sales as required
  • Actively participates in local groups that foster community involvement
• Estimating
  • Assists or takes the lead in estimating a project as needed
  • Assists owners and architects during design and negotiations
• Safety
  • Support overall company safety objectives
• Job set up
  • Establishes budget
  • Establishes schedule
  • Understand and enforce contract requirements
• Project Management
  • Provides effective leadership for project performance
  • Provides pre-construction services
  • Liaison with client, architect, field and office
  • Establish and monitor project objectives
  • Resolve disputes and build relationships
  • Ensures project closeout is timely and complete

Experience:

Must have 8 years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager.
