Project Manager – Framing (Residential)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with wood framing experience to join our team in the Bay Area. This ideal candidate needs to be a strong communicator with a keen focus on customer service in addition to being knowledgeable on all aspects of construction building and problem solving. The right candidate will function as both a leader and team member with a can-do attitude and the proven ability to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Job site safety for employees/subcontractors/homeowners
• Manage construction projects from start to finish
• Schedule and work with subcontractors to ensure proper execution on site
• Manage work sites to company standards; organization of materials and delivery, cleanliness, debris containment & removal, and following all site policies & procedures
• Effectively leading team members on site
• Interacting with clients in a respectful and professional manner
• Weekly report to production manager regarding project status

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of carpentry experience and 3 years project management role
• Power and hand tool experience necessary
• Job requires ability to perform tasks on all areas and aspects of construction project. Specifically, the ability to work with power tools, hand tools, lumber, and building materials. Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and computer skills a plus

• High School diploma with 5 plus years of experience in residential construction
• 3 years of residential construction supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills
