Project Manager – Hotels

We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager in Santa Maria, CA. The projects consist of design-build, tenant improvement hotels.

Job Description:

Responsible for management of project sites; overseeing subcontractors, development of subcontract scopes of work, and development and tracking of schedule and maintaining budgets.


Five years experience in serving as project manager on construction projects. Design-build experience and hotel experience preferred.

In addition:

  • 3 – 5 years construction project management experience preferably on hotels.
  • Must have on site construction experience.
  • Must have a working knowledge of structural, mechanical, and electrical civil and building practices and concepts, excellent working knowledge of current building regulations, laws, and rules.
  • Must be confident in directing and coordinating staff and subcontractors.
  • Must be organized and have ability to make independent decisions, ability to multi-task and ability to delegate.
  • Coordinate and communicate regularly with Clients and Corporate Executives.
  • Must be able to prepare subcontract scopes and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to subcontractual agreements with architects, suppliers and trade subcontractors.
  • Must be able to prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and Word, aptitude/willingness to learn other management software programs
