Project Manager- Reconstruction

We are currently seeking a Project Manager in the Twin Cities, MN area that has experience with either a restoration or reconstruction focus.

Responsibilities:

• The Reconstruction / Construction Project Manager will be in charge of scheduling and tracking multiple projects.
• Construction track — must understand scope, schedule work, communicate professionally, ensure project safety, and maintain quality control
• Managing subcontractors, vendors, and employee tradesmen.
• Be involved with planning and coordination of the starts of jobs and will be expected to adjust work schedules to minimize delays
• Regularly meet and communicate with customers, employees, and trade partners.
• Work on projects that will consist of residential, commercial, and industrial.
• Recruit qualified tradesmen and assign them to jobs.
• Follow up with the team to make sure that the work is being done correctly, timely, and within the budget.
• Handle workmanship and warranty issues as soon as they arise.

Requirements:

• Must know Xactimate, will be doing a lot of estimating while they’re expanding
• Minimum of 5 years construction supervision experience
• Sense of ownership of each job and a sense of urgency to complete them.
• Must have strong management and people skills
• Must be detail-oriented, able to work within a budget, and know what quality work looks like.
• Homebuilding and/ or remodeling and commercial construction experience a huge plus
• Must be able to bend, sit, stand, lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
