R & D Engineer

We are looking for a solid research and development engineer who can assist in the development of our product technology and can generate and execute test plans as needed accordingly. The candidate must be able to understand existing system dynamics and its implementation, then develop techniques, architect test strategies and tools to ensure solid deliverables for internal and external customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and drive integration and test effort
• Work with system/software/hardware engineers to understand system requirements and limitation to see through what needs to be developed and tested
• Prioritize test effort and development as our deliverable plans may be adjusted

Requirements

• Experience in embedded development environment
• Experience or knowledgeable of facial recognition algorithms / machine learning techniques
• Experience in profiling and benchmarking
• B.S Degree
• Experience with regression testing /generating design of experiments
• Proactively learn our system design and implementation to drive test effort along each milestone
• Python and shell scripting development
• Solid logical and critical thinking
• Good communication skills and ability to work within and across teams
• Knowledge of LiDAR and biometric systems
• Experience with Matlab, C/C++ programming
