Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated research associate to join our team. You will be researching and developing therapeutics for the treatment of neurological and immunological disease.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Cloning and engineering of novel antibody based therapeutics and reagents using methods such as gene mutagenesis, expression vector construction, transient and stable transfection of cells, and protein activity analysis.

This position may also include some molecular virology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in a scientific discipline plus three year’s laboratory experience.
• Master’s degree plus one year laboratory experience is preferred.
• Requires strong biochemical, molecular biology, assay, and cellular biology skills.
• Must have experience in complex protein engineering methods.
• Experience in protein purification is a plus.
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Candidate must be a US citizen.
